THRIFTSCOUT is running a limited pilot. Accounts, listings and orders are real, but no card payments are collected and no payouts are sent through the app. These policies are drafts and are not attorney-approved.

If the item is gone

If your scout reports the item gone, or the request expires, the request is released. No card is collected during the pilot, so nothing is charged.

After securing an item

Live refunds, return windows, return shipping liability, and dispute handling must be finalized before commercial launch. No refunds are processed in the app during the pilot because no payments are collected.
